Part Time Picture Framer Wanted 

As our Picture Framing & Design Shop & Gallery grows with a 2nd location coming we are looking for a talented individual to join our team. 

This is a part-time position, 12 - 16 hours a week, Saturday and Sunday availability a must as well as days/evenings. This position has an opportunity to become a full time position. 

Rate of pay depending on experience: $17-20hr.

Primary Responsibility and technical knowledge:
Accurately measure & read a measuring tape/ruler to 1/16
Use hand tools/drill, pliers, stapler, nail gun, awl
Fitting skills – Joining/Putty
Matte/foam board cutting/glass & plexi cutting by hand - knowledge of Wizard CMC a plus but not necessary, will train
Finish fitting frames (wire, dust cover, bump ons)
Careful handling of artwork and photographs
Design Skills plus color concepts
Preferable experience floating and hinging delicate works of art
Canvas Stretching, preferable pin & lace for cross-stitch mounting
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Ability to multi-task
Knowledge of art mediums

Organization:
Organizing the frame samples
Maintain tracking of completed custom frame work
Basic clean up of work area
File and organize mats

Secondary Responsibilities:
Work with clients to choose appropriate mat and frame options
Meet and Greet clients who are picking up work and checking them out
General computer skills
